Unlike most people, I've been to cuba, and I've been to the best cigar factories--right in the downtown of the captital, Havannah--to see the best of the best of the cuban cigars made. I've seen how expensive they are, and I even watched them making the super expensive ones that Fidel likes to smoke. It was quite the process, and it was very interesting watching those cuban cigars being made. But, at the end of the day, I still have to ask the question: cuban cigars, who needs them? Well, there's actually quite a few people that will only smoke cuban cigars--they don't want the other stuff that's out there, even if the people have left cuba and are now rolling the cigars in another country, using the same secrets and techniques, and the same leaves! Those discerning cigar lovers only like to smoke genuine cubans. This isn't much of a problem for the rest of the world, but those that reside in the US have a problem--the current and continuing embargo has them on the taboo list. So, if you only love to smoke cuban cigars, you'll have to smoke them when you're out of the country.
