If I Smoked I Wouldn't Choose Discount Cigars |

I am a former smoker and I have smoked cigars in the past despite the fact that I am female. I did this when I was very young and my motivation was the fact that I wanted to make a statement. I thought that if rich old men could smoke cigars, so could a young woman and never mind what anybody else thought of me for doing it. If still I smoked them now I do not think I would bother with discount cigars. After all, cigars are about more than just the pleasure of smoking; they are also about prestige and creating a certain impression. For example, to partake of Cuban cigars with friends is to let other people know that you can afford to set fire to something that costs a lot of money. With discount cigars that cost five dollars each one cannot give other people the impression of wealth and decadence. If I was going to smoke one then discount cigars just wouldn’t cut it. Instead I would prefer to find one of the most expensive Cuban cigars you can get and smoke it in the presence of a group of far right Republican politicians while wearing stiletto heels, a slinky evening dress and a fake skull and crossbones tattoo on my arm. Of course I would also be obliged to blow the smoke in their faces.
