Do a little comparison shopping so to speak and read what the cigar reviews have to say about the many types of cigars as far as taste, cost, etc. Cigar smoking is an acquired taste so if you are going to smoke a cigar why not smoke one you enjoy. This will take experimenting with many different brands and flavors but I would think your discount cigars are not going to be the best as far as freshness, flavor, taste and overall quality.
