The creator of this particular brand of cuban cigars was Ramon Cifuentes, owner of the Partagas factory before the Revolution. When the Revolution took place, the production of Cifuentes was not interrupted. But what the Revolution was unable to do, is going to be done by years of litigation between the members of the family in regards to ownership of this cuban brand. The production of Cifuentes is discontinued, and it is really difficult to find someone who has ever smoked one of these cigars or even seen a box.
