I heard that these were popular in the 20s and 30s. Do you think cork would be a good humidor liner? You wouldn't get the cedar aroma but what about cabinets since cigars would stay in their cedar boxes? I have a cedar box and am looking for a second humidor, but am on a tight budget at the moment. I would like to have a cedar box, but the cork lined box I am looking at is much cheaper than the cedar box I want. I know you can use most anything, but spanish cedar is what the good humidors are usually made of. I was just wondering how good cork lined boxes are at keeping cuban cigars at their fine quality that they are. I have a box of premium brand cigars and cubans that I would like to stay fresh. The box I am also looking at is very nice and comes from Europe. It is handmade and is quite reasonably priced. Any and all opinions are appreciated.
